Lindsay Chirio began her training at a young age as both a dancer and a gymnast. She graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and, for a short period, apprenticed with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Bloomfield Hills where she received training in different styles of ballroom. Lindsay apprenticed with Eisenhower Dance for two years and was promoted to a company member in 2014. She has taken classes and trained with many professional companies, such as Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Eisenhower Dance. She has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Ron De Jesus, Gina Patterson, Paul Christiano, and Lauren Edson, among others. She has been teaching at Big City Dance Center for 10 years and works with competitive gymnasts at Oakland Gymnastics. She continues to teach at intensives and master classes throughout metro Detroit.
