Learn to Skate

Learning to skate at DSC is for everyone! Our Learn to Skate program is for snowplow skaters (age 3-5), basic skills skaters (all ages), teens and adults too! Our coaches specialize in teaching quality technique at all levels--some of our coaches have even coached at the Olympics! From Learn to Skate, we guide our skaters into more programs at DSC including Learn to Play Hockey, Aspire Skating Academy, Synchronized skating, competitive skating, recreational programs, and more!

About Our Program

Classes are $22 per class, which will include 10 minutes of stroking and warm-up, 25 minutes of instructed class time and 25 minutes of supervised free time (which may consist of games, bubbles, mazes, etc.) and a badge once the skater has completed the level. We will include occasional 3-minute exhibitions of DSC skaters higher than the Learn to Skate level to expose skaters to the various disciplines of skating.
